Granite and Marble are easier to maintain than you’d expect.
Routine maintenance should include cleaning with clear, warm water and a mild dishwashing detergent.
Rinse thoroughly, and dry with a soft cloth. Cleansers with lemon, vinegar or other acidic
additives should be avoided. It is always best to use products designed specially for natural stone. Depending on the absorbency of the stone,
resealing can take place from once a year to once every five years. With today’s technology in
sealing products, staining rarely occurs.
Initially, it may appear that marble and granite are higher in cost than other solid surfaces, but the price must be weighted against performance and appearance. The durability, longevity and natural beauty of marble or granite will usually outlive the home’s occupants.
Marble and granite are far more valuable than synthetic surfaces in the same way that diamonds are more valuable than rhinestones. The depth and character of natural stone cannot be rivaled by any man-made surface. Natural stone does not depreciate with time and will add value and distinction to your home for generations to come.
Atlas Marble & Granite seals all finished products prior to their installation, to ensure the longevity of the stone. We sell natural stone color enhancer and couptertop cleaning products, and we also provide restoration services and maintenance program.
